「樹婦人(きふじん)」Tree Ladies in KIMONO
素材：布・紐・ゴムベルト・スポンジ 他
Materials: Cloth, string, rubber belt, sponge etc.
着物を着るようになってから、寸胴体型のものを見ると帯を巻きたくなるようになりました。善福寺公園にも寸胴はいっぱい！これはもう、巻いて巻いて巻くしかない！今まで個性を意識しなかった木立ちが急に擬人化され、すっくと立つ木々が、おしゃべりを楽しむご婦人達のように感じられたら、私の任務は完了です。
Since I started wearing KIMONO, I have been tempted to wrap an OBI around anything I see with a trunk shape. Now I realize Zenpukuji Park is full of such shapes! I have no choice but to wrap and wrap and wrap! If you begin to feel like the grove of trees are ladies enjoying a chat, I will be most satisfied.

■プロフィール：
旧西ドイツ・ハンブルク生まれ。大学・大学院で物理学を専攻したのちIT企業勤務。その後油画を専攻し、2011年に東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科絵画専攻油画技法・材料修士課程を修了。理系モチーフより馬鹿馬鹿しいテーマを好み、制作手法が理系寄り。

Born in Hamburg, former West Germany. After studying physics at university and graduate school, worked for an IT company. After that, majored in oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts and completed the master’s course in oil painting technique and material in 2011. Prefer funny themes than science-related motifs, but production method is somewhat science-oriented.
